  • Day 1: Arrive in Kelowna

    Welcome to Kelowna! You have just entered the Okanagan lifestyle which gives you access to spectacular weather and an abundance of recreation. Get settled at the Prestige Beach House Kelowna, and once you’ve made yourself at home and are feeling refreshed, you can take some time to get to know this beautiful area. Stroll along the waterfront promenade or city park across the street, and grab a bite at one of the many unique and delicious restaurants within walking distance. Later in the day, you’ll get out to experience your first winery and sample a selection of 4 award winning wines, while enjoying panoramic views of the vineyard and Okanagan Lake.
    Your hotel is directly across from Kelowna’s famous Hot Sands Beach. Here you can enjoy powdery sand, volleyball and basketball courts, grassy fields, playground, waterpark, skateboard park, on-site rentals and live music, vendors and buskers during summer months.

  • Day 2: More to Explore

    Good morning! Wake up to the beautiful sunshine, grab breakfast and take a walk to the waterfront with your morning coffee. Spend your A.M. exploring the downtown shops and local art installments on foot. In the afternoon, you’ll be able to visit one of the areas exceptional wineries for an in-depth 60 minute tour that goes beyond grape growing, and into the vinification techniques for harvest and Icewine harvest. You will get to explore the vineyard and production area where you can see firsthand the art behind winemaking. Afterwards experience a guided seasonal flight with food and wine pairings.
    One of THE things to do in Kelowna is visit the Kelowna Farmers Market. It offers a variety of farm products, organic produce and local artists displaying a wide range of crafts. Over 120 vendors set up booths on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

    Looking for something a bit different? Visit, feed and play with kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, exotic birds, and other animals from the land down under in a safe and fun environment. Pet a roo and hold a joey, but most importantly, learn a bit more about these beautiful animals.
  • Day 3: Vernon Experience

    Rise and shine! It’s another beautiful day in the Okanagan, and its time to take a short drive north to Vernon. Your ride through lake country will be breathtaking as you make your way to an orchard to see the crops growing, the fruit being picked, and the apples being peeled for their pie served in the café. Your tour takes you by apple trees, plums, peaches, as well as tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, and more! Get a behind the scenes look at this working farm and enjoy learning about how your food is grown. In the afternoon, you will venture to a nearby winery for a seated tasting of 4 wines, perfectly paired with 3 delicious cheeses. The wine education ambassadors will take you through each pairing, along with a brief story of the winery and winemaking techniques.
    On your way back to Kelowna, visit Kaloya Regional Park. This place has a sandy beach on one side and lilypad pond on the other. It is an ideal spot for bird watching, hanging out at the beach, swimming, enjoying the easy walking trails, or for a sunset picnic.

    Visit the O’Keefe Ranch. Founded in 1867, the ranch was at the end of the wagon road into the Okanagan Valley and the site of the stage coach depot. It was a small, self-contained community, with a Post Office, blacksmith shop, grist mill, and even its own church and cemetery. Many of the original buildings still exist, and are a delight to explore.
  • Day 4: Honey and Cruise

    Today is your last full day in Kelowna, so make it count! Get up, grab your coffee and explore the waterfront or downtown boutiques before you head out on your next Kelowna wine tour. Mid day, you’ll make your way to a modern artisan winery where they make honey wine and bee-inspired food products for wine lovers. You’ll receive a guided bee tour to visit the bees and receive a short bee introduction. Following that you’ll receive a wine tasting that would include 6 honey wines. In the afternoon, you’ll set sail on the open water for a 1.5 hour Okanagan lake cruise on a 75 foot, 2 level, luxury houseboat. Feel the breeze coming off the water as you take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
    Visit the diverse Cultural District in downtown Kelowna. It has six square blocks of studios, galleries, theatres, museums, and international restaurants, as well as 21 pieces of public art on display, created by local, regional, national and international artists.

    Enhance your lake experience by upgrading to a dinner cruise. This two hour sunset cruise will show you popular sites, views of spectacular homes and vineyards, and a picture perfect shot of the cityscape illuminated by the glow of Kelowna’s lights. Paired with the majestic scenery is a delectable buffet dinner and in July and August, local live entertainment is provided.
  • Day 5: Farewell!

    It’s time to pack up your belongings and check out of your accommodations by 11am. Don’t forget to search your room for any personal effects; it’s a long way to return to pick up any forgotten items! If you haven’t done so already, be sure to charge your devices and check in for your flight or road report for the drive back home. Be sure to give yourself enough time to arrive and grab a snack before you depart.
    You never know when and where you are going to be delayed. Be sure to bring something to nibble on, have a fully charged phone and a good book to keep you preoccupied.
