Meet The Makers

You will discover award-winning food and drink and the stories from the makers, through guided tours and tastings. On this tour you will have the opportunity to visit a French Canadian restaurant, local coffee bar, meadery, winery and vineyard and distillery.

You Have Time to Explore

We provide ample time at each stop and with only 20 seats per bus departure, you can relax, have fun and taste your way through each location. You will have time to tour, taste and shop at each locations retail area.

Activities Options*

Do I need to reserve/book my seat in advance?

Yes, we recommend you book in advance. For the taster’s tour, the booking cut-off is 5 days prior to departure.

-Stories and history of coffee and the BEC space and a beverage of your choice from the coffee bar
 
Chartier
-Founders story and signature bread and butter board and seasonally inspired cocktail using house-made shrubs and syrups
 
Old Station Honey and Mead
-Tour and tasting including a flight of three signature meads and a slice of  Fifendekel pie (flavour will change based on the week). 
 
Righand Distillery
-Tour of the distillery and a tasting of a selection of their signature spirits. 
 
Beau Bella Winery
– Tour of the grounds including a glass of wine and a small bites charcuterie plate

The Business and Entrepreneur Centre (BEC) is Leduc County’s platform and hub facility for nurturing new and diverse economic growth in the region. It provides connectivity, infrastructure, support, programming, and a centralized address for a community of entrepreneurs, suppliers, services, and consumers.

Can I purchase local products at each stop?

YES! This motor coach has room to store any goodies you decide to purchase along the way under the bus. Please bring a large enough bag, or padded tote to store your belongings in. All items are left at your own risk and we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

  • • Sign in with your tour director and sign a waiver form.
    • Grab a drink at the coffee bar (additional snacks for purchase).
Arrive at Chartier
  • • Welcome and introduction.
    • Enjoy artisan bread and butter (additional snacks for purchase).
 Arrive at Old Station Honey and Mead
  • • Tour of the facility.
    • Receive a tasting, paired with a slice of Fifendekel pie.
Arrive at Righand Distillery
  • • Tour of the facility.
    • Indulge in tasters and a drink.
