The Food and Farm Trail has been thoughtfully curated to take you on a day long adventure to experience hidden gems, local food and rural hospitality. Discover delicious treats such as sourdough bread, pastries, locally crafted spirits, Alberta wines, and artisanal coffee along the way.
You will discover award-winning food and drink and the stories from the makers, through guided tours and tastings. On this tour you will have the opportunity to visit a French Canadian restaurant, local coffee bar, meadery, winery and vineyard and distillery.
We provide ample time at each stop and with only 20 seats per bus departure, you can relax, have fun and taste your way through each location. You will have time to tour, taste and shop at each locations retail area.

This hidden gem is stunningly gorgeous and has ample space for walking, picnics and learning about Alberta wines. All of their wines have ingredients grown from their farm. Take a walk around the farm or enjoy a glass or two at the tasting room. The taster tour includes a tour of the farm and a tasting of a selection of their wines. Relax on the front lawn with a glass of wine or challenge your friends to a game with a selection of lawn games.
Chartier is an award-winning rustic, Quebec-French-style restaurant serving homestyle dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The taster tour includes a signature bread and butter board and a tasting of Old Station Honey and Mead’s Ministik sparkling mead. You will then have the opportunity to purchase your own brunch items from their extensive brunch menu. Our personal suggestion is the famous Haricots Verts, battered green beans, smoked maple aioli, and chili maple syrup.
Award-winning, locally made, and locally sourced spirits are in abundance at Righand Distillery. Enjoy a scenic walk around the property to check out the indigenous plants, or check out the unique chainsaw carvings throughout the property. The taster tour includes an in-depth tour of the distillery and a tasting. You are welcome to
purchase additional beverages or grab some food from their kitchen. The entire property is licensed so you can take your drink and go for a walk on the trails, hang out on the patio or venture down to the tipi.
Old Station honey and mead is a meadery based in an old fire station in New Sarepta. Sourcing ingredients from other local farmers, the mead maker is always up for experimenting and is a community builder – ask him about the People’s Barb.

YES! This motor coach has room to store any goodies you decide to purchase along the way under the bus. Please bring a large enough bag, or padded tote to store your belongings in. All items are left at your own risk and we are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
