Match made in heaven

We are thrilled to promote this opportunity with our sister company, MagicBus Tours. They are a family friendly bus service that has been in business for more than 30 years and know a thing or two about skiing in western Canada. All of their tours are non-smoking, non-drinking, use a luxury motor coach and are accompanied by a professional Tour Director. Enjoy a ski adventure without the hassles of driving or waiting in ticket lines.

Itinerary

  • Ski the day at Marmot Basin

Rise and shine early! You need to be at the Edmonton Inn at 5am to start boarding the bus for your day trip to Marmot Basin in Jasper National Park. Be sure to check in, load your equipment under the bus and grab a spot as we leave at 5:30am, sharp! Now is a great time to take a nap as our next stop will be at the A&W in Edson. Hop off if you wish to buy breakfast and get back on quickly so we can continue on our journey to Jasper. The bus is expected to arrive around 9:45am (depending on road conditions), and you’ll jump off the bus with your lift tickets in hand and make your way to the chairlift. You’ll have the entire day to ride the mountain and enjoy runs like Sleepy Hollow, Roll Out, Spillway, Home Run, Paradise and Highway 16. At 4pm, return to the bus, check in, load your gear and get onboard. The bus departs at 4:30pm and typically puts on movies for guests to enjoy on their way home. We are expected to be back in Edmonton by around 9pm.
If you don’t have a snowboard or skis, you can rent them in the city or on mountain. They tend to be cheaper if you rent in town but more convenient if you get them at Marmot Basin. Find out what is best for you and your skill level and if you have any questions, give us a call and we can help sort things out.

    (additional charge)

Spend a night or two in Jasper while taking advantage of the transportation to/from Edmonton. We can offer two day one night packages that will allow you time to enjoy the majestic rocky mountain setting.
