Meet The Team

I’m a passionate skier, interested explorer, photo geek, pilot with an underlying desire to remain fit. People tell me they feel comfortable talking to me, as such I’ve made many friends. The very nature of tourism is understanding the “why” of a persons’ desire. With 30 years of practice, I can usually figure out something that will turn a regular experience into something “Magical”!

Luckily, I’m as comfortable in my tuxedo, as I am in my ski pants. Delivering a message to an assembled crowd is as comfortable as chatting with buddies over some apres’ bevvies. I believe everyone is keen to tell their story and they will if you give them a chance.

So, I’m a skier with an ear for the heart of others that will be comfy talking in a tux about airplanes or family stuff. I guess I could have just said that….

I am a person of many roles. In all the roles in my life, they bring me a challenge. All the roles I consider equally important. I am a Libra, so as you would predict I try and keep it balanced. First role, as an independent woman, I enjoy reading, socializing with friends for a run, walk or coffee. I am passionate about many sports, the top three that bring me joy are Skiing, Baseball and Figure Skating. I have coached Figure skating for 10 years and Baseball for 5 years.

My primary role in the company is establishing the Marketing Plans and the liaison between Travel Alberta and Destination Canada. Hope to see you on the slopes!

I grew up in Saskatchewan and wanted to ski real mountains as long I can remember. I did realize that dream in my early twenties after learning to ski on beautiful Table Mountain. Spring skiing remains one of the great joys in my life. But it is the specious open skies of the prairies and the big blue ocean that give me the greatest sense of fulfillment. It seems the staff of Live It Up are simply drawn to the experiences travel awards the soul, my next great adventure that is calling my name is Scotland. While I embrace life under the land of the living skies, my passions beyond bookkeeping are lots of curling and urban agriculture.

I am an Adventure Visionary. I have been passionate about travelling for as long as I can remember. From skiing adventures to travelling to exotic countries! My travels have taken me throughout Canada and the North, Turkey, Greece, UK, Portugal, China, Cuba, Dominican Republic and throughout interior Mexico.

I love trying new, off the beaten path adventures and always look forward to creating new memories. Let me help you stir up creative ideas and coordinate your next inspirational journey.

I am an adventurer. I have hiked Machu Picchu, dove the Great Barrier Reef, entered the Great Pyramids of Giza and have participated in many more exhilarating activities. I love finding adventures of all thrill levels and experiencing something new, challenging and unique. My travels have taken me across Canada and beyond, and I have visited the traditional touristic routes and been transported to special remote settings, and have a memory to share from each experience. So, if you’re looking for ways to be inspired on your next adventure or want to hear a story or two, reach out!

Ever since I was small lad, I have been exploring the Canadian Rockies. Jasper in particular is my favourite destination. Over the years I’ve hiked the 43km Tonquin Valley trail, played hockey on Pyramid Lake, photographed the waterfalls of Maligne Canyon, witnessed crackling icebergs at the Athabasca Glacier and literally dozens of other things. Any yet, every year I go back, I find something new to do.

It was my father who inspired me to be the adventurer I am today.

I am a passionate photographer/videographer, and don’t have to travel far to find a worthwhile subject.

I am a self-professed day dreamer constantly thinking of where I can go next. I live for weekend getaways where I grab my suitcase and go! All my adventures include sightseeing, leisure and of course retail therapy. There is nothing more enticing than being able to relax and live in the moment. I truly believe a journey is best measured in memories rather than miles.

Having previously been mostly an “Indoor” person, and generally avoiding situations that moved me out of my comfort zone, or outside at all, I’ve come a long way to enjoy what I do now. Photography became the spark that lit my heart on fire, for with it I had found what I am truly passionate about. Nowadays I take any chance I can to create as many memories as possible in the little time we have to do so.
